Teflon Coated Fabric Overview - Andrew Roberts Previously when a package was required to have a visible
seal a porous Teflon-glass fabric had to be used, the problem with this
method was low ptfe-content which meant fewer seals before failure and
the openings of the porous fabric eventually filled up with melted film.
M-BOSS fabrics are non-porous. A proprietary coating process
allows for a generous amount of PTFE to be applied to the fabric while
still allowing the natural texture of the fiberglass to come through,
resulting in a long lasting product that embosses a readily visible
pattern into the film.
